New England Solar Farm EIS released for public exhibition

Our development application and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the New England Solar Farm have now been approved for public exhibition by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment.

The EIS describes the project as well as an assessment of the potential social, environmental and economic impacts. It also includes a detailed summary of our community consultation on the project and the significant improvements we have made as a result of that feedback.

We held four community meetings and forty one-on-one meetings with residents and interested stakeholders as part of our consultation. We understand that this involved a considerable investment in your time and effort.

We again thank the local community and stakeholders for this contribution to help make the New England Solar Farm the best it can be.

The development application and environmental impact statement for the project will be on public exhibition from Wednesday 20 February to Wednesday 20 March.
